We are Iris and Silvia, co-founders of Blank Key Home.
Blank Key Home is a ceramic tableware and objects studio based in Foshan, China — a city with a long history of ceramic making.
Before starting this studio, we came from two different worlds. Iris worked in film production, where she developed a sensitivity to visual storytelling, atmosphere, and quiet details. Silvia worked as a translator, bringing patience, precision, and an appreciation for subtle meaning into the way we create.
Together, we design ceramic pieces with earthy textures, natural glaze variations, and a quiet wabi-sabi character. Each piece carries its own subtle differences in shape, color, and finish, giving it a calm and individual presence.
We hope our ceramics can bring warmth, texture, and a sense of stillness to everyday coffee moments, tea rituals, shared meals, thoughtful café spaces, and quiet corners of the home.
