We are Iris & Silvia
Blank Key Home is a ceramic tableware and objects studio rooted in Foshan, China — a city with a long and living history of ceramic craft.
Before founding this studio, we came from two very different worlds. Iris worked in film production, where she developed a sensitivity to visual storytelling, atmosphere, and the quiet power of small details. Silvia worked as a translator, bringing patience, precision, and a deep appreciation for subtle meaning into everything she creates.
How We Design
Together, we design ceramic pieces with earthy textures, natural glaze variations, and a quiet wabi-sabi character. Each piece carries its own subtle differences in shape, color, and finish — giving it a calm and individual presence. We don't pursue perfection. We celebrate the beauty of imperfection.
